Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at contact@bodyfixosteo.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Your osteopath will ask detailed questions and perform a physical examination to understand your symptoms. An explanation of findings and treatment plan will be discussed at your first appointment. If your osteopath feels your condition is not appropriate for osteopathy treatment, you may be referred to your GP or alternative investigations.

Osteopaths are trained to perform a physical examination in order to assist in diagnosis. This involves observing simple movements to understand posture and mobility. Ensure appropriate under-wear is worn during examination and treatment such as shorts/sports bra.

Osteopathy is a regulated profession and is provided by specialist trained practitioners. They must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) who ensure their members meet their requirements.
